Deputies of Botievo village council have decided to apply to the head of the Region state administration with the request for promotion of the reparation of roads located on the territory of Botievo village council. It is referred to the roads from Vladimirovka village to Botievo village, from Botievo to Stroganivka and from Botievo wind farm to Primorskii Posad.
— The condition of the roads is very rough, it is practically impossible to drive on them. At the same time, we note that the biggest Ukrainian wind farm, i.e. Botievo wind farm, is situated on the territory of Botievo village council. An additional point is that the second stage of the construction, i.e. Primorsk wind farm-2 will be implemented in the nearest future. These enterprises utilize the above-mentioned roads in the course of their operation, says the head of the village council Nikolai Chubukliev.
These roads have the status of “general use roads” and are on the balance sheet of the Region state administration from the beginning of the new year. But according to the residents of Botievo and representatives of the local authorities, the roads have been “killed” with DTEK equipment during the wind farm construction. It means that they should be repaired not for the budget funds but at the investor’s expenses.
Residents argue that not only roads have been covered with cracks but also their houses, the officials don’t respond. The officials confess: the investor has promised to take care of roads in only a token way. And everyone has forgotten about the roads when construction works of the object first stage were completed. The investor declared that he was not driving on roads and that meant that he was not “killing” them; and the head of the village council also forgot about promises. Residents of the village say that the "memory problems" of Nikolai Chubukliev have begun after the investor presented him agricultural equipment.
Members of the working group also have many questions; it was formed during the public hearing to advocate the interests of the community, including issues of the roads reparation. Group members say that neither item of the memorandum signed between the community and investor has been fulfilled.
Today, when DTEK is going to get down to the second stage construction, residents of Botievo and neighboring villages worry that heavy trucks break all the roads — vacationers will stop visiting the Priazovskii district, and the local authorities will continue getting away from this fact.
